Well good bye 2013 and the goodbye to the first 7 months of my 12 month challenge to raise money for the Alziemer's Society. So far, with the kind help of friends, family and kind supporters I have raised £2300. When i started out on this crazy mid-life crisis I was aiming for around £2000 across the 12 month period so Its all going so much better than I expected.
I have a few events lined up for the new year including a quiz night, another band and buffet event on the 22nd March and another 'soak your manager in the stocks' event at Dudley council. This time I have the director of Social Services in my sights! He has already agreed verbally but I will not be satisfied until he is in the prone position with the stocks firmly clamped over his head.
